I bought a pair of my Zodiac sign, Sagittarius. I love the pretty purple color and the arrow embellishment. The universe had said that this pair is meant to be mine.

These Zodiac shoes inspired me to write a travel horoscope. Shoes are associated with going somewhere, to a place that not only the feet like, but which the soul loves to reach.
I revisited my Zodiac books and ran through the traits of each of the signs, before I wrote my own interpretation. I referred to a Cosmopolitan book for the lucky days, numbers, stone and colors, then I played around with the travel tips.

Aries ( March 21- April 20)
The Ram. You are impulsive and irrepressible.
It is not difficult to persuade you to go on unplanned travels. You enjoy traveling by land, even if the terrain is bumpy, you are focused on the gorgeous sights and the taste of adventure.
A safari tour will excite your senses. The wild and tamed animals have something extra-ordinary in store for you. A sub-urban drive in a convertible on a weekend would be liberating, the sun and the wind will cool your stress down.
Travel tips:
Travel on a Tuesday, your lucky day, and wear something red. Wear a diamond, but in safe places like a hotel ballroom or a museum gallery.

Taurus (April 21- May 21)
The Bull. Patient and strong-willed. You refuse to budge.
Your travel itineraries are usually the same. You do not mind going back to the places that you have been recently, as long as you have enjoyed your stay. You are domesticated, so you enjoy vacation sites that are cozy and homey.
An out-of-town cottage hide-away will appeal to you. You will also find lethargy is fun in a beach resort, where you can lie in a hammock while sipping your coconut juice from the fruit itself.

Travel on a a Friday and wear something blue. Reserve your emerald or jade accessories with a sexy exotic garb, in the evening bonfire or barbeque.

Gemini (May 22- June 21)
The Twins. You have a dual personality, angelic and devilish.
You enjoy traveling with a companion who is so much alike with you. Well, not necessarily in appearance but alike in thoughts and can keep pace with your fickle side.
You will enjoy travels at the spur of the moment. A day trip to old churches and hometown of saints will attract you. But after an exhausting day of walking, you will find yourself drinking a martini or mojito in a crowded bar, chatting with your companion amidst the noise.
Travel tips:
Travel on a Wednesday and wear something yellow to neutralize your mood. Opt for pearl accessories, they are versatile just like you.

Cancer (June 22- July 23)
The Crab. You are self-protective and intuitive. Quite moody.
You close yourself to the outside world during your leisure trips. You want to enjoy the time undisturbed with concerns at work and at home. Since you have affinity to water, you enjoy traveling by sea.
A night cruise by the bay, with good food and wine will suit your recluse. Travel in a luxury ship will have a relaxing effect on you. You will find yourself near the deck, immersing in the sensation of the waves. A ferry trip will have the same pacifying effect on your temperament.

The Wheat Gatherer, the young Virgin. You are young and innocent in your thoughts and demeanor.
Everything seems to be something new for you, a first-time experience, eventhough you have been there before. And you love the attention that people in these places give to you.
You will enjoy going to colorful carnivals, to a fair for a carousel ride, to a ranch for a horseback ride, to a tropical island for an evening bikini party. You will find yourself giving more appreciation and time for socializing now than you did in the past.

The Centaur. Another dual personality. The human and the wild. Carrying a bow and arrow which suggest aiming high. Fickle. Adventurous. Hates to be restricted.
You best enjoy traveling to far off places that will satisfy your spontaneity. You love going to places of regard and fame. You dream big dreams and is not ashamed of it. Regardless of whether long or short stay, you are able to enjoy since you have an eye for real beauty.
You will be most delighted to travel where famous celebrities have tread or left their mark. Hollywood, the ateliers and boutiques in Paris and Milan, Louvre Museum, Sistine Chapel are among the places that will make you feel like a celebrity in your own right. You are smart to do these things one at a time. Your playful and creative side will earn you loads of photographs and journal entries. For bloggers, you will gain endless inspiration for writing.

Aquarius (January 21- February 19)
The Water Bearer. You are forward-looking and independent.
Your travels are cautiously planned. You already think of possible conflict at work, eventhough the travel schedule is still several months away. You do not mind traveling solo, as long as you have the time.
You will enjoy traveling anywhere, whether in a posh place or a in nearby budget vacation spot, as long as you schedule your trips on holidays, long weekends, on dates which are definitely not in conflict with your other activities. It will connect you back to your water origin and will put your scattered thoughts together, so you'll gain focus. A week- long cruise will do long-term wonders on you.
